Lab Research of MEG Drilling Fluid

The additive for drilling fluid and optimal concentration have been selected through lab experiments. The basical formula is as follows: water+3%bentonite+15%MEG+5%Na₂C0₃+0.3%FA367+0.1%KPAM+0.5%HFL-2. The experiment results show that the system has good rheological properties. When added amount up is to 15%, the cutting roller recovery is over 80%. On the basis of the lab experiment on dynamic pollution, the average of permeability recovery value is up to 88.9%.
