Experimental study of different types of polymer viscoelastic in offshore oilfields

  • With the expanding application of tertiary oil recovery technology, the polymer flooding technology has become an inevitable choice for oilfield development.Polymer flooding method is to add a certain concentration of polymer into the water, thus change the viscoelastic injection water to improve water swept volume and the efficiency of oil displacement.The essence of polymer flooding technology is the viscoelastic effects of polymer solution, based on our actual needs of oil field development, through laboratory experiments and theoretical analysis, systema tic research and analysis was done using different types of polymer on its viscoelastic proper ties.The results show ed that viscoelasticity and rheology of different types of polymer solution is quite different, "ZKY618-2" and "DQ-KY" are relatively better in performance.
