Abstract: Sometimes we comprehend and apply the concept of "recovery ratio" in general terms, ignoring the basic principle that "recovery ratio should match with geological reserves one by one in logic", confuse the static and dynamic geological reserves or corresponding recovery ratios, and comprehend and use it by mistake. This passage discusses the differentiation and relation of the static and dynamic geological reserves with corresponding recovery ratios, put forward the formulary to convert recovery ratio by the ratio of the static and dynamic geological reserves which gives significant directions to the correct understanding and use of recovery ratio.
