Lab study on hyperhaline/cationic polymer drilling fluid for deepwater drilling

  • 摘要: 通过实验优选适合海洋深水钻井的高盐/阳离子聚合物钻井液体系。该体系以20%NaCl作为水合物抑制剂,以高分子量的阳离子聚合物作为絮凝剂,以小分子量的阳离子聚合物作为黏土稳定剂,配合降滤失剂、增黏稳定剂、润滑剂等处理剂配制而成。室内实验表明该体系具有良好的流变性,较强的抗污染能力,较强的抑制性和良好的油气层保护能力,同时能阻止低温下天然气水合物的形成,满足今后海洋深水勘探需要,减少深水钻井作业风险。

     

    Abstract: This paper optimized the hyperhaline/cationic polymer drilling fluid for deepwater drilling by a lot of experiments. This system is formulated with 20% NaCl as hydrate inhibitors, high molecular weight polymer as flocculant, low molecular weight polymer as clay inhibitor, fluid loss control agent, viscosifier, lubricant, and so on. The lab test results show that it performs good rheology capability, high antipollution capability, high inhibition and good reservoir protection capability. Meanwhile, it can inhibit the gas-hy-drate formation for deepwater drilling at low temperature effectively, and it will reduce the risks of deepwa-ter drilling.
