Abstract: The Baochu slope had been divided into several study areas including Yingcuixuan,Pingbei, Pingnan and Pingzhong. In every study area, the geochemical prospecting has been developed in recent years. So many geochemical data was provided form these study areas. But every study area has its respective geochemical background. Ih this study, we summed up all of the data in the past and linked the four study areas into one. It is said that the Baochu slope is regarded as one geochemial background.on this basis, the geochemical data was processed, and the geochemical abnormal distribution was determined. We also set up the geochemical abnormal model, and analysed the feature of the geochemial abnormal distribution, which will provide the basis for the oil/gas exploration and development in the future.
