Abstract: PingBei area is another important base for exploration and development besides PingHu petroleum field. Based on 2-D and 3-D seismic data interpretation, the structural type and characteristic of the area were analyzed in this paper. Integral with drilling data, depositional facies and petroleum geological condition, we learned the source, reservior and caprock of the eastern and western structural belts. The eastem structural belt is more promising than the western structural belt. Pinghu Formation-the main target stratum, is advantageous for petroleum accumulation and highly-productive pool.
