Abstract: In the paper, we research mainly division of sub tectonic unit and the geological significance in Bohai offshore area, indicating the difference of petrology condition of different positive sub tectonic unit in Cenozoic basin and the necessary of right understanding and accurite division. It the end, proposing new program that profit able to further research of petrology and increasing exploration efficiency.
