Horizontal Well Completion Technology Optimization of M Oilfield in Iraq

  • 摘要: 伊拉克M油田早期以直井进行开发生产,为了实现更高效的开采,降低投资成本,实现“少井多产”的目标,后期采用水平井生产。该油田水平井段储层复杂,以碳酸岩和砂岩为主,夹杂泥页岩,为后续水平完井工艺的选择带来了挑战。为了选择合适的水平井完井工艺,该文通过声波时差和岩石强度分析及现场应用实践,优选出该油田水平井完井工艺,并投入现场应用,增加了单井产量,延长了油井寿命,同时降低了作业成本,为类似油田的开发提供了借鉴。

     

    Abstract: At the beginning of the development in Iraq M Oilfield, drilling vertical well is the main method. In order to develop efficiently and low the investment cost, achieving the goal of "less wells with more production", the method of drilling horizontal well was adopted in later period. The reservoir characteristic in horizontal section is complicated with carbonatite, sandstone, and mixed clay and shale, which has negative effect on horizontal well completion. In order to select proper horizontal completion method, this article optimizes the horizontal well completion technology method through interval transit time and rock strength analysis as well as onsite application which finally enhance oil production, extend the life of well, lower the operation cost and bring the reference for similar oilfield development.
