南大西洋中段两岸盆地盐下油气成藏特征对比

Comparison of Subsalt Hydrocarbon Accumulation Characteristics in Basins on Both Sides of the Mid-South Atlantic

  • 摘要: 南大西洋中段两岸盆地为大西洋开裂形成的共轭被动陆缘盆地,具有相似的演化过程和油气成藏特征,但两岸勘探程度和勘探领域各有区别。如何借鉴南美巴西桑托斯盆地、坎波斯盆地盐下油气勘探成果,指导西非安哥拉宽扎盆地的盐下油气勘探是当前该区域勘探研究的重点。此文对南大西洋中段两岸的油气分布特征、构造沉积特征和油气成藏条件进行了对比分析,并指出了两岸油气成藏特征的异同。认为西非宽扎盆地和巴西坎波斯盆地具有类似基底构造形成的垒堑相间构造格局,在盐下储层沉积时的某个特定古水深区域,基底隆起形成远离物源区的古浅水区,碳酸盐岩储层及与基底隆起的相关构造圈闭发育,周边地堑区供烃,盐岩提供良好的封盖条件,具备形成盐下大油气藏的条件。将会成为安哥拉未来储量新的增长点。

     

    Abstract: The basins on both sides of the middle of South Atlantic are the conjugate passive continental margin basins, which formed in the Atlantic Ocean rift period. They have the similar evolution and hydrocarbon accumulation characteristics, while the exploration degree and exploration area are quite different. The current exploration and research in this region focus on how to draw lessons from the pre-salt oil and gas exploration in Brazil Santos Basin and Campos Basin of the South America, and guide the pre-salt oil and gas exploration in Angola Kuanza Basin in West Africa. In this study, we carried out contrast analysis of the oil and gas distribution characteristics, tectonic sedimentary characteristics and hydrocarbon accumulation conditions between the basins on the both sides of South Atlantic, and pointed out the similarities and differences of hydrocarbon accumulation characteristics. The study shows that Kuanza Basin in West Africa and Campos Basin in Brazil have horst-graben structure pattern similar to basement structure. In a specific paleo-water depth area during the deposition of subsalt reservoirs, paleo-shallow water area far from provenance area formed by basement uplift, meanwhile carbonate reservoir and related structural traps developed. Besides, hydrocarbon was supplied from surrounding graben area, with good sealing conditions provided by salt rock. And that can offer good conditions for the formation and enrichment of oil and gas under salt, which will become a new growth point for Angola's reserves in the future.
