时深转换技术在巴西某海域3D层速度建模中的应用

The Application of Time-depth Transform in 3D Interval Velocity Modeling in Target Area of Brazil Offshore

  • 摘要: 地震勘探技术面临的关键问题之一是时间域数据向深度域转换的问题。时间域与深度域之间的转换桥梁是平均速度。获得平均速度的途径主要有两个:井数据和地震数据。研究区位于巴西某海域,海水深,海底地形起伏大。尽管井资料多,但分布不均匀,3D地震速度资料缺乏,多井平均速度拟合存在问题。利用Petrel软件,通过追踪海底反射层界面、井震标定、主要构造层位解释,重建地下3D层速度模型,为储层建模、储量复算、开发井调整等提供了精确的深度域数据体。

     

    Abstract: One of the key elements of seismic interpretation is the problem of data transformation between time domain and depth domain. And the average velocity is the bridge between time and depth domain. There are two data sources to get average velocity:well data and seismic data.The study area is located in the offshore of Brazil,where the sea-water is deep and the sea bottom varies sharply. Although there are many well data, the distribution of them is uneven. The 3D seismic velocity data is absent, and the filter of average velocity among wells has problems. Base on the tracing of sea bottom, seismic-well tie, and horizons interpretation, the 3D interval velocity model has been rebuilt in Petrel software. And it has been used to provide the precise data in depth domain for reservoir modeling, reserve recalculation, and development well adjustment.
