东非Albert湖盆北部构造调节带解析及其油气运聚分析

Character of Northern Accommodation Zone of Lake Albert Basin and Its Role in Hydrocarbon Migration and Accumulation

  • 摘要: 构造调节带是裂谷盆地中的一类重要构造变形体系,也成为油气聚集的有利场所。本文以东非Albert湖盆北部构造调节带为例进行解析,该调节带断裂十分发育和复杂,通过三维地震资料属性分析对构造精细解释,发现大量断块圈闭;该调节带位于盆地的缓坡带,距离湖盆生烃中心较远。北部调节带发育大型河流三角洲,成为有利储层相带的同时为油气侧向长距离运移提供通道。结合构造和沉积储层认识,建立了构造调节带的成藏模式并对油气运聚规律进行深入研究,认为网状断裂和大型河流三角洲体系的发育共同控制调节带油气运聚。该地质认识可对世界其它地区裂谷盆地中发育的构造调节带油气成藏提供一定借鉴作用。

     

    Abstract: Accommodation zone is an important tectonic deformation system in the rift basin and a favorable place for oil and gas accumulation. This paper discusses the northern accommodation zone of Lake Albert Basin of eastern Africa, where the faults are well developed and complicated. Many fault traps have been identified in this zone based on the attribute analysis and interpretation of 3D seismic data. Although the accommodation zone is located on the gentle slope and relatively long from the hydrocarbon center of the basin, the well-developed large river deltas in this area serve as the favorable reservoirs and provide quite good lateral paths for hydrocarbon migration. Combined with the understanding of regional tectonic geology and sedimentary reservoir, the author made a deep study on the hydrocarbon migration and accumulation, established the model of reservoir forming in the accumulation zone. It is concluded that the faults and sand bodies in the study area jointly controlled the migration and accumulation of hydrocarbons. The study provides a reference for the hydrocarbon accumulation in the rift accommodation zone in the similar areas.
