改进的西门度模型在饱和度测井解释中的应用

Application of Modified Simandoux Model in Saturation Logging Interpretation

  • 摘要: 由于西门度公式、印度尼西亚公式等具有泥质校正的功能,故在含泥质砂岩的饱和度测井解释中得到了较为广泛的运用。通过研究发现,对于西门度公式来说,虽然通过泥质校正可以在一定程度上消除泥质附加导电作用对地层电阻率的影响,但在实际应用过程中,由于模型假设条件和参数选取等原因,饱和度计算的精度受到限制:一方面,西门度公式未对泥质中细粉砂和黏土的附加导电强弱进行区分;另一方面,岩电参数往往使用的是经验值或直接由岩电实验得到的值,并非为消除了泥质导电影响的岩电参数值。为解决上述问题,从突出黏土在泥质附加导电中的重要性出发,对原西门度模型进行了重新推导,并在此基础上,总结出运用GR曲线估算黏土含量的方法,同时,利用岩电实验数据,运用多元回归模型拟合得到消除了泥质导电影响的岩电参数值。以东海陆架盆地X气田为例对改进的西门度公式进行了验证,饱和度计算精度明显高于常规西门度公式的精度,证实了这一模型的有效性。

     

    Abstract: Simandoux Equation and Indonesia Equation, with the function of mud correction, have been widely used in saturation logging interpretation of argillaceous sandstone. Study shows that, as to the Simandoux Equation, the accuracy of saturation calculation is limited due to the limitation of assumed conditions and the parameters selected in the model, although the influence of mud additional conductivity on the formation resistivity can be eliminated by mud correction. On one hand, the conductive ability isn't distinguished between clay and fine silt sand by Simandoux Equation; On the other hand, the rock-electrical parameters are generally empirical values or obtained by rock-electrical experiment instead of the values corrected after eliminating the influence of mud additional conductivity. In order to solve the shortages mentioned above and emphasize the role of clay in the mud additional conductivity, an improved Simandoux Equation is proposed and, on the basis of this, a method for estimating the clay content by GR curve is summarized. Thus, rock-electrical parameters without the influence of mud additional conductivity are obtained, based on the rockelectrical experiment data and multiple regression model fitting. The verification conducted in X gas field of East China Sea Shelf Basin shows that the saturation calculated by the modified Simandoux Equation is more precise than that of by Simandoux Equation.
