Abstract: The capability of raising platform and capability of cantilever beam operation is very important for self elevating platform,which is the basic conditions for gurrantee the production operation of jacket platform wells.Study has been conducted on the capability of raising platform,the longitudinal and transverse covering of cantilever beam,and the bearing load.A set of evaluation model and method have beeen put forward about capability of raising platform and capability of cantilever beam operation.The importance of evaluation method in practical production has been discussed in this paper.The evaluation model and method are simple and practical,with significant economic benefits.
