Abstract:
It is difficult to identify reservoir lithology using routine post-stack impedance in Panyu region of Zhujiangkou Basin, so prestack density inversion method using different processed inspection such as offset gathers, p-wave, s-wave, and density logging data was applied in this area, and shear impedance, impedance, density and so on were obtained at the same time. The result of reservoir prediction in this area using the technology showed that the density could effectively distinguish the reservoir, and could clearly reflect geological phenomenon of wedge. The layer properties of SB21.0 showed regional distribution of favorable reservoirs which was confirmed by drilling proves that the technology was effective.
