Abstract: Based on the specialties of offshore geophysical operation, combined with the operation experiences of 2D, 3D acquisition projects under different typical offshore environments, the author analyzed the safety risks probably occurred in the offshore seismic operations by sort, proposed control measures on weather, hydrology, vessel navigation and equipment damage, etc. and formed risk control plans that emphasize real operation. These contributed to the establishment of company management system and also can provide effective reference to the safety risk control in the other offshore seismic operation.
